Infer to Comprehend

Boys and Girls, please explain the difference between inference and prediciton and describe how they help you with your reading. Thanks, Mrs. Bejarano. P.S. This is a test grade so remember to sign it.

Prediction means to think what is going to happen BEFORE the story.Infer means to stop in the MIDDLE of the story and think what is going to happen next.When you predict and infer it helps strech your brain and it's at a higher level thinking. That's what third graders need, a challenge! Kimberly

    EXSAPL:
    When you haer a baby cring you think she/he is tird or needs to chaeg it's dieper (you chaeg the dieper)or hugere.(if the age is 23 mouths or younger you have to feed it.But if it is older it can feed itslfe.)or when it is very mad.
